Our support group partnered with Sarah Crook and Shannon Parry, two USC students, who were working on their “Senior Thesis Project” for the USC Honors College.

Their thesis project was to plan, develop, and execute a fund raising project to raise $3,000 for Parkinson’s disease educations and research.

They are the most amazing young women. They approached us out of the blue about wanting our help to raise funds for Parkinson's.  Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised and touched by their offer to support the Parkinson's community. They wanted the money raised to be used for Parkinson's Support, Information, Research and Education.

Sarah and Shannon raised a total of $3,833 and they distributed the money as follows:
$1,833 was spent on equipment and supplies for the walk event
$1,000 was donated to the National Parkinson Foundation for Research
$1,000 was donated to the Columbia Parkinson's Support Group to provide Support, Information and Education to the Parkinson's community
