Donation "In Honor Of"
Donation “In Honor Of” – Experiencing the effects of Parkinson’s disease upon a loved one’s life inspires many to donate in that person’s honor. If you sometimes have trouble finding the “perfect gift” for someone, a gift donation given in his or her “Honor” can be a most appreciated gesture; and can be sincere reminders to friends or family members of how much you care. You can Honor a loved one, who is living with Parkinson’s disease, by making a gift donation in his or her name. Those who make gifts to Honor a Parkinson patient enjoy knowing that their gifts are a “living memorial” to their loved one.
You can show your appreciation of your caregiver or your care partner and donate in their “Honor”.
Gifts can be made “In Honor Of” loved ones at special times such as:
- Mother’s Day or Father’s Day,
- at the birth of a child or grandchild,
- on a birthday,
- wedding,
- anniversary,
- holiday,
- graduation,
- or any other special occasion
When you make a Honor donation, the Columbia Parkinson’s Support Group will send to the Honoree you have designated a notification of your thoughtful Honor tribute you have made in their name.

- our annual donation at the end of each year to Parkinson’s research foundations to help fund the research for a Parkinson’s cure
We monitor our expenses and strive to maintain a low overhead by spending our money wisely. At our meetings, we provide information as to the balance of our accounts and how we have spent our monies.
